Rediscover Granville 2.010
Green Chair Events along with the City of Vancouver are pleased to bring you Rediscover Granville 2.010! This community initiative takes place every weekend this summer until September 6th. Downtown Granville Street will be closed off to traffic and open to pedestrians to enjoy street food vendors, entertainers and musicians that will be performing from 10am – 10pm Thursday to Sunday. This allows people to engage in more active forms of transportation such as walking and biking. Fewer cars on the street also mean less of an environmental impact.
Green Chair Events refurbished chairs and tables to create community spaces and increased public seating for people to socialize, relax and grab a bite in the heart of the city.

The chairs were a great idea! I’ve used the many times to relax downtown when I’m having lunch! Good job and you should continue this next year!
