Green Chair Events is a for-profit social enterprise dedicated to make sustainable events a reality all across Vancouver.





By being creative with our resources, we bring new life and modern aesthetic to the event industry. We lead the way in innovation when it comes to reducing, reusing and recycling. Together with the community, we want to plan and create affordable, sustainable, and beautiful events available to everyone.




Green Chair Events Believes:

…that communities should collaborate with each other to achieve sustainability.
…that everyone deserves a chance to celebrate life’s milestones with dignity.
…in the importance of leisure and celebration…we have so many reasons to celebrate but we feel it should not be in a way that leaves us in debt for years to come.
…that organic food or products should be available and affordable for all people.
…that by helping each other and walking in the same direction that is for our common good, we can achieve sustainability and be an example to other communities alike.
…in bringing change to the event industry by educating, innovating and inspiring people to act in an environmentally socially responsible way.
…that the current “green rush” will lead us to be “wealthier” and “healthier” not with greed, but with a clear conscience.
…that Artists and Musicians should have total support from the community to be able to do what they are passionate about, because it gives fuel and inspiration to our souls. (An event with people is much greener than lots of goodie bags, decorations and presents).
…that by giving, we always get more than what we gave.
…in being transparent so that everyone knows of our good intentions; we should all aim for transparency.
…that if we all choose to do what we love doing (with the support of our community), we will be a happy planet.
…that we, as a community have the power to bring positive change for us and for generations to come.
